Saddle up for a scenic ride through the Wallowa Lake East Moraine alongside friends, family, and fellow ranchers. Riders depart from the Harley Tucker Arena at 12:30pm.

Join us for a night of food, fellowship, and fundraising. Enjoy a hearty meal, live auction, and a chance to connect with the ranching community.
All proceeds benefit the Chief Joseph Days Scholarship Fund, supporting students pursuing college or trade-school education.

Bucking Horse Stampede
Kick off the 80th Annual Chief Joseph Days Rodeo with one of the most thrilling and iconic traditions in the West – the Bucking Horse Stampede!
On Tuesday July 21, our powerful bucking horses thunder down Main Street in beautiful Joseph, Oregon, bringing the energy and excitement of rodeo week straight through town. It’s a jaw-dropping sight you don’t want to miss – the perfect way to welcome rodeo fans near and far!

Buckaroo Rodeo
The Buckaroo Rodeo returns to the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo event lineup. Open to special needs children and adults regardless of age.

Ride in the famous Chief Joseph Days Rodeo Stagecoach
All contestants will be awarded a buckle, t-shirt, hat, bandana, lariat, and ticket to the Wednesday PRCA Rodeo performance.
Contestants are invited to join the Grand Entry during the PRCA performance on the stagecoach. Entries begin on Wednesday, July 22nd at 9:30 am at the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena.

Join Us for the 19th Annual Chief Joseph Days Rodeo "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" Campaign!
Walk with us to support a world without breast cancer. Every step we take together brings us closer to a cure. Let's show our strength and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night PRCA Rodeo Performance #2 – 7 PM

Auctions and TETWP Merchandise: Participate in our auction and purchase TETWP merchandise to support the cause.
Donations: We will be accepting donations for the TETWP program, with all proceeds going to Wallowa Memorial Hospital to provide free mammograms to women in Wallowa County.
Junior Parade
The CJD Junior Parade is always a big crowd pleaser on Friday morning, July 24, 2026, when over a hundred youngsters – from infants to teens – dressed up in all kinds of costumes to entertain Chief Joseph Days’ crowds.
PRCA Rodeo Performance #3
Gates open at 6:00 p.m., pre-rodeo entertainment until 7 p.m. when PRCA Rodeo Action starts with the Grand Entry.
Grand Parade
On Saturday morning at 10:00 you will find thousands of spectators crowding the sidewalks of Joseph to watch close to 100 entries in the grand parade at Chief Joseph Days!
Friendship Feast
A reunion of tradition, pride, and friendship...
The Nez Perce gather at the Encampment Pavilion north of the CJD Rodeo Arena to share their culture and traditions with locals and visitors alike starting at Noon with the Friendship Feast followed by Traditional Indian Dance Contests.
Saturday Night PRCA Rodeo Performance #4
Gates open at 6:00 p.m., pre-rodeo entertainment PRCA Rodeo Action starts with the Grand Entry at 7 p.m.
Cowboy Breakfast
Hosted by the Joseph Fly-In Club.
Also open 930 PM–3 AM, after Saturday night’s rodeo. Reopens at 6am on Sunday morning until 10am.
